Past Hunger Games - 24th Hunger Games - fog
The 24th annual Hunger Games took place in what can only be described as ‘the fog’. The actual environment of the arena was never revealed, as everything was covered with such thick fog that it was impossible to see more than a few feet ahead. The bloodbath of this arena was not really a bloodbath at all, with the tributes stumbling about randomly, trying desperately to find a weapon or food. Most of the career tributes died on the first day because they were unable to identify one another in the fog, and ended up killing each other. Because it was so hard to see, finding food was nearly impossible, and many tributes died of starvation. Tributes were also killed by unseen mutts that would seemingly come out of nowhere and drag tributes into the mist. Seeder was able to avoid the mutts and other tributes using her acute hearing. Because she was from District 11, Seeder was used to always feeling hungry, and managed to outlast the other tributes who died of starvation. 51 years later, at the age of 66, Seeder competed and died in the 3rd Quarter Quell.
